Which appliances can be vinyl wrapped?
Fridge freezers (American-style, integrated, freestanding), dishwashers, cooker hoods and extractor fans, washing machines, tumble dryers, ovens (exterior panels only), and microwaves. We assess each appliance at the survey — smooth metal or plastic surfaces wrap best.
Is it safe to wrap appliances that generate heat?
Yes, with the right film. For cooker hoods, we use heat-rated films appropriate for the temperatures involved. Oven doors and side panels are also wrappable using specialist high-temp film. We always confirm suitability at the survey before quoting.
Can appliance wrapping void my warranty?
Applying vinyl to the exterior of an appliance doesn't typically affect mechanical warranties, as we don't modify internal components, electrics or seals. However, if your appliance is under manufacturer warranty, we recommend checking the terms. In our experience the vast majority of manufacturers do not object to exterior cosmetic wrapping.
How do I match my appliances to my kitchen wrap?
If we're wrapping your kitchen at the same time, we bring samples to the same survey and you choose matching or complementary finishes together. If you're coming back just for appliances, we keep job records — bring a photo of your kitchen and we'll find the closest match from our range.
How long does appliance wrapping take?
A single appliance typically takes 1–3 hours. A fridge freezer, dishwasher and cooker hood together can often be completed in a half-day. When combined with a full kitchen wrap, appliances are usually done on the same visit.
